Evening Pilots,
Well its not quite a weekly report at present but you never know, I
might actually start having the time to produce these! Apologies to
all for the lack of reporting, and many thanks to Dan and Angel for
keeping an eye on things yet again for me!
Anyway enough of the apologies, lets get on with business… and the
main focus on this report is of course Raise the Flag! You may have
heard somewhere that we have retained our title of TC Flagship, and
Cyclone Squadron is again the TCCOM’s Own Escort Squadron! This
dominant display by pilots of the ISD Challenge once again proves we
are the very best the TIE Corps has to offer, lets keep it that way
and keep on pushing ourselves forward to further glory!
Of course, well done and thank you to every pilot that participated
in this important competition, but we must give special praise to
Cyclone Squadron for their impressive efforts in nearly doubling the
score of their nearest rival, the Command Squadron! MAJ Zosite also
had yet another impressive set of results, achieving first place
three categories – top Pilot Score, top Single-Player pilot, and top
Multiplayer Pilot!
Other very notable mentions for their high individual efforts go to
LCM Rue Sokky (2nd place in Graphics), LT Katherine
Cantor Flyer (3rd place in IWATS) and our own Wing
Commander, COL Angel for 3rd place in Single-Player!
Again thank you and well done to everyone who brought glory back to
the ISD Challenge once again! Long may the tradition continue!
In other news…
You may have noticed we have finally filled our CMDR spots! CM
Solaris Darthinian has taken the helm of Thunder squadron, CPT
APanasyuk has taken over as Inferno squadron CMDR and former TAC,
COL Master is back where he belongs as CMDR of Tornado squadron!
Hopefully our CMDRs are all nice and settled and comfy in their
squadrons now!
A big pat on the back to Murleen, Wing X’s longest standing current
CMDR, who achieves the rank of Lieutenant Colonel for his on-going
efforts with Omicron Squadron!
And of course (although this happened a few weeks ago now) another
pat on the back for our craziest CMDR, Zosite, on reaching the rank
of Major!
ISD Challenge Website – hopefully everyone is aware of the changes.
The old hosting company was pretty useless so its all been
transferred to a new place. Domain is now
http://www.isdchallenge.org
– all CMDRs that wish to use this as hosting have now been contacted
and subdomains set up. Mailing list is also operational. Please let
me know of any problems you may encounter, and hopefully these new
people will actually do something about it for us!
And finally, all Squadron evaluations are now in for November, I
will be looking at these over the next few days and hope to award
lots of shiny new medals to everyone!
